Dr. Jenna Kuiken grew up in northern Minnesota, in the small town of Aitkin with her parents and two older brothers. It was during her time competing on the high school dance team that sparked her interest in chiropractic care and sports related injuries. From sustaining her own injuries as an athlete and working closely with her school’s athletic trainer and her father (who’s a chiropractor and her mentor) it was an obvious choice to pursue chiropractic with a focus in sports related injuries.
Dr. Kuiken graduated from Aitkin High School in 2010 and began her pre-requisites at Central Lakes College that next Fall. A short two years later she was accepted to Northwestern Health Sciences University (NWHSU) where she completed her Bachelor in Science degree and Doctorate in Chiropractic degree. During her time at NWHSU, Dr. Kuiken shifted her focus solely from sports related injuries to studying the Gonstead technique as well. She spent countless hours attending seminars, club meetings, and shadowing doctors in order to become proficient in the Gonstead technique.
In clinic you’ll find Dr. Kuiken working with patients of all ages, often treating everyone from grandpa to the newest grandkid. Her passion for chiropractic knows no boundaries and allows her to continually expand her horizons by adjusting adults, kids, athletes, and even focus in nutrition.
She cannot wait to share her knowledge and passion for chiropractic care with you. And hopes you allow her to help you with your journey towards optimal health!
